WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for Omani nationals who have completed a minimum three year undergraduate degree in 2008, 2009 or will successfully complete a degree by June 2010. If you are a graduate who has studied Telecommunication Engineering, IT, Finance, Economics or Business across any of the major disciplines then we’ve got an 18 months program that will further your career in more ways than you can imagine.

We are looking for well-rounded, practical self starters who have achieved a balance between good academic results and other interests such as work and extracurricular activities. Successful students who completed an undergraduate degree from a fully accredited institution of higher learning and a grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale are our minimum requirement. We’re all about innovation so we welcome your new ideas, and you’ll need to be adaptable as it’s a fast changing environment.

Most importantly you are a customer focused team player, and you’ll welcome the opportunity to be challenged and to apply your skills and talents to real work and making a real difference at Nawras.

HOW DOES THIS PROGRAMME WORK?
Our programme is unique and varies in length of up to 18 months; as a Ruwad Al-Nawras you could experience a number of rotations across your business unit or line of business. You will do real work on amazing technology that builds your skills and be involved in a range of development activities tailored to your area of interest and development needs.

To assist you through the programme you’ll be supported by an experienced mentor who will guide you on your journey. The graduate network, your assigned buddy and of course your manager will all help you gain the most from the programme, while ensuring you are well prepared for the next stage of your career.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS?

1. 2008, 2009 and 2010 Graduates only from a fully accredited institution of higher learning and a grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale are eligible to apply for admission to our Nawras graduate program. Only students with degrees in the areas of Telecommunication Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal and Economics / Business will only be accepted.

2. All student applicants must have submitted their completed degree to the Ministry of Manpower in Oman and must attain a Manpower Card that enables them to work in Oman before applying.

3. You must have a minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 550 (traditional test) or an IELTS score of 6.
